Do you want to see the Internet Marketing Video that brought me to tears on my birthday?

Fergal Downes has changed my life for the better.

That sounds like an exaggeration, yet it is true.

The mental switch that occurred in my brain while going through his most recent course is something I will not be able to go back to my old way of thinking now that I finally know it

So how did this happen?

Back in 2018, I was a follower of Fergal, meaning I was on his email list and had bought a couple of his products which were methods for making money as an affiliate and related ideas like how to get traffic or build your list.

Right from the start, I really liked Fergal because he was so down to Earth, unlike so many of the other so called "gurus" of the internet marketing and affiliate marketing.

Most of the "gurus" I had seen at the time were all about hype and felt very sales-y, and Fergal was different. He still offered products for sale, yet not in an annoying or pesky way, and his actual courses and methods were simple and he had a great way of laying it out step by step. He was believable and a straight shooter.

The first product I remember was probably Quick Affiliate Sniper. It was quite simple and easy to go through the course and I remember thinking how brilliant an idea it was to use to make a few hundred dollars.

And what did I do with that information?

Nothing.

I never even attempted to follow the steps, even though it was something I could have done in less than a couple days and likely been able to make some affiliate sales.

Nothing.

I did NOTHING to take action, I just thought, "Hey that's neat, that sounds like it would be simple to do and make some sales."

And still did NOTHING.

Then Fergal offered a private VIP mentoring membership.

It was significantly more expensive, as it should be since Fergal himself would be helping us, and it was limited to a small group. I knew it was a great opportunity and was happy to be at a point in my life that I could afford to join the mentoring group and also have enough money to set up the tools like mailing software, sales page hosting, link tracking and also some money to put toward advertisements.

One key question I asked Fergal before making the commitment was how long he would be willing to help me, and he said for life.

Let me say right now this is completely true.

It is currently 2021, and I joined Fergals private VIP mastermind group in August 2018 and I am still part of his groups and he still takes the time to respond to me personally when I have a question.

Of course I have not been active in actually DOING anything, yet at least I knew if I had questions Fergal was true to his word.

The random action I DID take was I happened to see a post Fergal wrote asking for people who would be willing to write a testimonial about his new course he is releasing in August.

Something compelled me to volunteer, and that tiny action is the turning point in my thinking. Of course the benefit to offering to write a testimonial is that you get the product for free and you get an advanced copy before it is released to the public.

Fergal sent me the info and it took me a couple days to make the time to watch the whole course, I wanted to give Fergal an honest review, I knew his style and was pretty sure it would be just as good as all his other courses.

Another thing that I love about Fergal is he is human, his content is great and at the same time, he doesn't script every little detail so his videos are not over produced. The reason this is important to me is it shows he is having success because his content is great even if he makes minor mistakes while filming or pauses to fix something.

Why is that important to me?

Because I have been a perfectionist in the past and have spent so much time making everything perfect that I never actually completed anything.

Knowing the level of success Fergal has achieved proves to me that people can learn even if your presentation isn't perfect.

It was lesson number 11 that made me stop in my tracks.

As I watched, a wave of realization hit me, quite honestly with a sense of regret that brought tears to my eyes.

Fergal was showing a screen share of his account at WarriorPlus, proof of the money he actually is earning and, more importantly, proof of what his students and affiliates are earning.

And I'm sure we've all seen this kind of information before, and for me this time there was a startling difference.

I had to pause the video to confirm what I saw, and what I realized made me cry, in fact just thinking about it now while typing this, it's making me cry again.

So what did Fergal share in that video that made me cry?
